Description: Create a painting taking inspiration from James Jean’s paintings. The work will use mixed media and have several layers that add complexity and depth to the picture.
Objective: I will explore the concept of visibility. Some of the images will be obscured because of the layers. Also some of the images will be realistic and recognizable while other elements will be more abstract.

Description: I want to practice my figure drawing skills so I will be using people as the main subject of my pieces. Recently I have been very inspired by interior design so I will similarly try to use composition and color to evoke a feeling. I will also experiment with pattern and texture to create dynamic pieces.
Objective: Create 3 pieces with people as the focus, and utilize different elements like color and texture in a harmonious way.
Materials: Canvas, paint, cardboard, pencil, ink, collage materials
Timeline: 3 weeks (1 week per piece)
